We love flying there from Charlotte on Weekends for lunch. It's a short hop and you can park the plane right in front of the restaurant. Decent and varied menu and the food arrives quickly. Nice covered outside deck with view of the airport and a few tables inside also. Clean restrooms. Ron is a great guy and treats you like a VIP. Just remember to bring cash (no credit cards) but Ron will keep the tab open for you until you fly in the next time in case you forget!
57Alpha is a awesome gem of a restaurant and well worth the trip. The Chili Verde Burrito is the best thing on the menu and is highly recommended. I have never had anything bad here. It's run by Ron McKinney and been in business for 25 years!

Great food, cooked to order. Delicious! Burgers and Mexican- if you like either, give Ron a try. And save room for the banana pudding- like you've never had it. Definitely one of those hidden gems. Keep waiting to see it on "Diners, drive-ins and dives". But don't come if you're in a hurry.
