What a great little 9 hole golf course. You can play from ladies, seniors, white or blue tees. You had better pay attention or this little jewel will eat you alive. Rolling hills keep you guessing on how to play the shot because there are not many flat lies. Uphill, downhill, sidehill etc., you will get them all here and you better learn how to play these shots. Nice bermuda tees and fairways with bentgrass greens. Course was in good condition. What a great challenge for the average golfer. Located right behind the Rutherford Hospital just about a quarter mile from downtown Rutherfordton.
Fun course that's easy for all levels of golf. Good players can go low if they drive the ball well, and mid to high handicappers can have a lot of fun without getting into too much trouble! There are good people here at the club and there's always somebody willing to give you a good match! We have Captain's Choice Scrambles on Tuesday and Friday Evenings and Saturday and Sunday Best Ball Dogfights & Points games where everyone is welcome! The course is in much better shape this year than years past and as the membership base is growing again it's sure to only continue to improve in the future.

Jake has done a great job getting the greens back, a couple still need some work, but the course is very playable, And the staff & members are great, very friendly & helpful. I play here all the time come on out maybe we can play a round.
