The staff rock and are highly knowledgeable. The dog whisperer there helped fix a behavior my pup had. Their prices are decent and the care they give rivals any other animal hospital/vet I've found in NC. So glad my pup gets to have such incredible people to help him.
It would have taken no time or effort to listen to his internals and check him out visually.
We are from out of state, and saw a little puppy laying unresponsive in the middle of the road. We turned around to pick him up and saw him move his head, he was looking in rough shape but didnt appear to have been run over. The dog was foaming at the mouth and very lifeless, he was clearly injured in some way. Being dog lovers with 4 of our own we rushed to the closest animal hospital we could find because we were very concerned about internal injurys. It was quite a suprise when NO ONE would touch the dog. They simply stated because i wasnt the owner, they wont touch him. Not a single worker touched him, listened to his chest, or even walked from behind the counter to look at him. One worker scanned him for a chip, but offered no help nor advice besides that.
We will never go back.
Small town feeling where the staff knows you and your pet. Excellent health care for my dog. Reasonable prices compared to other clinics.
I dont understand how you can have an injured animal right in front of you, with the people who brought him in wanting him to be looked at who were willing to pay for all this medical costs, and you tell them they are pretty much on their own.
Had two dogs groomed that came out ok but I had to get them a flu vaccine that I never had to get anywhere else. I also wasn't told they needed a second one until it was too late.
I left another about 12 yrs ago and I went to Rutherfordton Vet, The best thing I did for my babies. The level of care is beyond special and they treat your babies like their own!!!
